How do we factor trinomials?

You have to find 2 numbers that multiply to the number without a variable and can also add up to the number that has the variable and once you find them you have to factor them with those 2 numbers found.  http://www.gradeamathhelp.com/images/guess-check.jpg

when you factor the difference of squares its going to turn out to be a binomial because you have to cross out whatever shows up twice and then finish solving and will be left with multiplying the squares and it will be a number to the second power subtracted by a integer.

How do we multiply binomials?

Multiply the first numbers from the two binomials then multiply the outside numbers, then multiply the inner numbers and then multiply the last numbers. Finally you add/subtract the ones with the same variable and put it in standard form.

How do we solve diamond problems?

The two numbers on the side have both equal the number on the top and the number on the bottom but the top is when you add the two numbers on the side and the bottom is when you mulitply the two numbers on the side.
